It was winter time. Not a sound could be heard in the frozen land. The only sound to be heard was the cawing of the crows. Caw…caw…caw went the sounds. All the crows were sitting together. One crow said to the others, “Let us eat as much as we can today, for it seems that it is going to snow hard. Then we will not be able to find anything to eat.” All the crows agreed to what the crow said. Suddenly, one of them said, “Maybe we should visit the farms. We might find something to eat there.” But another crow objected, “No! We will not go there. The last time I went there, I was attacked by a cock. It is better if we find food here only.” Soon, the land was full of the cawing of the crows. The silence vanished into thin air. But by evening, it was time to settle down. There was silence again everywhere.
