Susan loved animals. Whenever she found an opportunity, she would offer food to animals. One day, Susan decided to visit the river for a swim. Her elder sister, Carol, also went along with her to the river. There lived monkeys near the river-bank. Susan carried a small paper bag with her. There was some food inside the paper bag. She said, “I will give this leftover food to the monkeys.” “Be careful with the monkeys!” Carol said. “Monkeys are playful. They will play pranks and might hurt you,” she warned her younger sister Susan. When they reached the river, Susan forgot all about her sister’s warning. She started throwing food at the monkeys. The monkeys began crowding around her. More and more monkeys kept coming. Susan was scared! She finally threw all the food in the paper bag at the monkeys, and managed to escape. Since then, she always followed her sister’s advice.
