Olive brown in colour, the olive sea snake is well adapted for marine life with a typical flattened tail for swimming. They love warm coastal waters that have coral reefs inside which they hide. Though highly venomous yet they are docile beings feeding on fish, eggs of fish, prawns and crabs. Its life span is 10 years.
