Olympic torrent salamanders have distinct bright yellow bellies. These small 10 cm salamanders are dark brown and shiny with large eyes and short snouts. They can be found near mountainous streams and waterfalls and eat a diet made of springtails, stoneflies and nymphs. They are assumed to live for over 10 years.
