Mr. Quinn, the postman, was always busy as Christmas drew near. It seemed there was endless work for him. On top of that, it was so cold. But he always wore a smile on his face. He just wished he could get a break. One day, as he was walking on the icy pavement, he slipped on the pavement and fell. He went to the doctor. The doctor said, “Your leg is broken. You will have to rest now.” So, he had to stay in the hospital. He felt lonely and bored. He missed his work. But he was in for a surprise. When everyone heard about his accident, they all wrote to him a get-well-soon letter. Quinn was very emotional when he read the letter. He realized how much he was loved.
