The Lesson Learnt

Once, there were four siblings. It was snowing very hard. But for the children, it was fun time. They went outside and started making a snowman. But the youngest sibling wanted to go sledging. He did not want to help his brothers make the snowman. Quickly, he sat on the sledge. His mother shouted, “Do not go alone.” But he unheeded the warning and went away quickly. Soon, he was speeding very fast. Suddenly, the speed made the sledge unstable and it bashed against the snowman that the children had made. The poor snowman lay scattered to pieces. The other brothers were very angry. One exclaimed, “There goes all our hard work!” Another said, “Why did you not listen to mother?” But the boy had learnt his lesson. He said, “I am sorry!” Then he helped the others to build the snowman again.
