Once, there was a garden. The owner had put a water bath for the birds there. Every day, many birds used to come there to drink water. But a very bad cat lived there. She used to drive all the birds away and did not let them drink the water. She was a very mean cat indeed! One day, a clever little bird came to the garden. She knew that the cat used to drive the birds away. So, she made a plan. As soon as the cat began to chase her, the little bird flew straight to the bird-bath. There she began flapping her feathers with all her might. As the cat came near the bird, water splashed all over her. She immediately ran away. It was a known fact that cats did not like water. After that day, the cat never came near the birds.
