It was winter time. Birds were finding it hard to get food. One bird put on her scarf and cap and set out to find food for herself. But she had not gone far when it started snowing heavily. The poor bird came back. She started shivering and thought, ‘What will I do?’ Then the tree advised, “Go to the farm. There is a barn where you can take shelter.” The bird thanked the tree for the advice and flew to the barn. To her surprise, she found the barn crowded. Many birds there were feeding from the pig’s trough. One of them said, “Come and join us! The kind pig is sharing his food with us. This winter, we will not remain hungry.” The bird was very happy.
