Once, granny was telling a story to her grand-daughter, Erica. She said, “I will tell you the one about the little worm who was so cold in autumn and was helped by the snail. He made a tiny house from a nut-shell.” Erica exclaimed, “That is a novel idea to use a nut-shell.” Granny replied, “There are other ways of using a nut-shell.” Granny brought a bowl of nuts, glue, paper and scissors. She said to Erica, “We will make some nut-shell toys.” Erica decided to make a nut-shell tortoise. Granny decided to make some mice. Soon they made a thimble-case, a ship with a paper sail, and so on. It was a fun day for Erica and granny and a busy one too!
