The brilliant green Mediterranean tree frog has sticky toe pads on its long limbs adapted for climbing. They also occur in blue, brown and yellow colours. The male has a vocal sac that is folded and croaks from trees or water to attract females. They adapt to a variety of habitats but often near a water-body and feed on insects.
