The water was blue and calm. But Dukey Duck was having a hard time. He wished to put his head under the water to eat the weeds. But he was not able to do so. One day, when he was practising dipping his head in the water, he came face-to-face with a fish. The fish asked him, “What are you doing?” Dukey replied, “I am trying to dip into the water but I don’t like going upside-down in the water.” The fish understood his problem and came up with a deal. She said, “I will tell you a joke each time you dip your head into the water.” Dukey liked the idea. So each time Dukey dipped his head into the water, the fish told him a joke. Soon Dukey found that dipping his head into the water was not so bad after all!
