The frosted flatwoods salamander definitely looks frosted with silvery net-like patterns on a dark body. They are long, slender, and possess gills. They are specifically found only near cypress ponds that are marshes lined with pine trees. Earthworms are not their favourite food but they feed on other insects. They live in burrows coming out only to breed when it rains.
