The elephant trunk snake has a baggy skin making it look larger. It is non-venomous, squeezing the prey by coiling around it. They live in coastal rivers, lagoons and estuaries, and can stay under water for 40 minutes. Active at night they catch fish and frogs by surprise. Its skin is used as leather called Karung.
