One of the tiniest of chameleons, it is also the prettiest with the male having a pink-tipped, blue-spotted blade-like snout. The base of the snout is green and runs as a stripe across its eyes. The female has a shorter reddish snout. They may turn grey or brown when stressed. Due to their appealing looks and size, they are popular as pets.
