Their population has dwindled in Arunachal Pradesh in India. The male stag is known to have many ‘singhas’ or horns, almost up to twenty times! It grows up to a length of 6 feet and can weigh more than 200 kg. Their habitat is threatened by local populations of humans and by rivers which change course each year.
