It has unique physical features which combine rodent-like teeth and a special thin middle finger that acts as a woodpecker! It has an unusual method of percussive foraging–it taps on trees to find worms, then bites holes in the wood; it then inserts its middle finger to pull the worms out. They use echolocation to find prey.
