Once upon a time, there lived a just king. One day, the king placed a huge boulder in the middle of the road to judge his people. Many of the king’s courtiers and ministers passed by the road complaining how little the king did for his people. Even though the boulder was blocking the road yet no one tried to move it away. Finally, a poor peasant came by. He was carrying a heavy sack full of vegetables and fruits, but still he tried to move the boulder. After a lot of hard work, the peasant succeeded in moving the boulder. As soon as the boulder moved, the peasant found a bagful of gold coins and a note from the king that said, “Keep the gold coins as a reward; you are a responsible citizen!” That is why we say that every obstacle in our path is a chance to improve our lives.
