he first video game was invented in 1967 by Ralph H Baer at Loral Electronics in Bronx, New York. He created the first prototype of the Magnavox Odyssey, the world’s first video game console. Ralph H Baer is often known as the ‘Father of Video Games’. He was the first person to create a system that converted electronic signals into pictures on a television-screen. The original Magnavox Odyssey featured a few simple games, such as a chase game, checkers and a shooting game.
