Dorstenia Gigas is a succulent plant found on the island of Socotra in Yemen. It is hung on top of the rocky cliffs of the island. It has disappeared from other parts of the island because it was consumed by goats. It can reach 1.20 mewers in diameter for 4 metres in height. Dorstenia Gigas sinks its roots straight into the bare rock. It grows on the rocky slopes. It does not need a lot of water but lots of sunlight.
