Where are Trojan Asteroids?

Most of the Trojan Asteroids orbit the sun with Jupiter. Such asteroids were first discovered in 1906. All of Jupiter’s Trojan Asteroids are named after the heroes of the Trojan War. There are currently about 1200 known Trojan Asteroids. 624 Hektor is the largest of the Trojans. Some Trojan Asteroids are composed of ice and dirt, rather than rock.
