Tina enjoyed skiing in the mountains. She enjoyed sliding up and down the snow -covered mountain. She would often put on skis and slide down mountain slopes with her father and friends. One day, Tina was playing music on her iPod and skiing in a remote part of the mountain, when she saw something big and hairy moving towards her. It was a snow monster! She had never seen a snow monster before. The snow monster was big and ferocious. She was scared. She didn’t know what to do as she trembled in fear. Tina was fearful but she thought over what to do. Suddenly, she had an idea. She quickly raised the volume of the music. The monster stopped still in its tracks. It had never heard such strange sounds! Scared, the monster ran in the opposite direction. Tina escaped unscathed because of her quick wit and unusual idea.
