Once, a monkey lived in a forest. He was a very playful monkey. One day, when the monkey was sitting on a tree, he saw some fishermen going towards the river. Curious, the monkey followed them. The fishermen cast their nets into the river. The monkey keenly observed them. After a while, the fishermen went away to eat their lunch and left their nets upon the bank. Now, the monkey, who had a habit of copying others, got down from the tree. He took one of the nets in his hands and threw it into the river. But sadly, he became tangled in the net. Meanwhile, the fishermen came back. They saw the monkey in the net and started laughing. The monkey said to himself, ‘If only I had not copied the fishermen. Now I am trapped.’
