Once, a man decided to sell his donkey. He took him to the market place and handed him over to the broker. The broker started praising the donkey loudly, “No one has set eyes on such a donkey before. You cannot find its kind anywhere else. You can pile as much load as you want. Yet, the donkey will not complain. If you do not feed him for three days, he will not complain….” The donkey’s praise went on and on. As the hawker praised the donkey, many buyers lined up and the price started to increase. Now, the owner was surprised to see so many people raising the bid for his donkey. He had not known that his animal had so many qualities. He decided to keep him after all. He paid the broker’s fee and took the donkey back home.
