Once, a lion was sleeping peacefully outside his den. But his sleep was disturbed by a mouse which was running up and down all over his body. The lion got angry and growled. He shouted, “I will punish you for disturbing me.” But the mouse sought his forgiveness and said, “Let me go. Who knows I may be of help to you when you are in need.” The lion laughed at the idea but let the mouse go. Well, one day, the lion was caught in a trap. Just then, the little mouse happened to pass by, and seeing the sad plight in which the lion was, decided to help him. He started cutting the net with his sharp teeth. Within no time, the lion was free. The lion thanked the mouse and said, “We should never underestimate anyone.”
