Once, a group of elves and dwarfs lived together with Fairy Godmother. The elves always made fun of an old dwarf. Fairy Godmother did not like the behaviour of the elves. She decided to teach the elves a lesson and cast a spell on them. The spell was effective. After the spell had become effective, whatever the elves said its opposite happened to the old dwarf but the same thing happened to the elves. Next time when the elves called the dwarf ‘an old fool’, he became younger and more intelligent, but the elves became older and also foolish. “Why are we becoming old and foolish?” the elves wondered. None had the answer except the Fairy Godmother. Fairy Godmother said, “I have put a spell on you, so you understand how cruel you were behaving.” The elves said they were sorry and felt ashamed of their behaviour. Fairy Godmother then turned them back into their true forms.
