The stoke’s sea snake is quite heavy and stout for a sea snake. They are creamy snakes with broad crossbands and grow up to 2 metres long. This aggressive and venomous snake inhabits tropical seas, and is found in coral reefs and muddy waters at a depth of 10 metres. They forage among coral reefs and the sea floor, and feed on a variety of fish.
