Though the trees are still bare, spring is around the corner. Green shoots start appearing. The hazel tree has golden catkins in spring. If you blow gently under the tree, golden pollens start falling. With the falling of flowers, a lovely carpet of flowers is formed on the ground. Other flowers to be seen during the spring season are the buttercup, the primrose and the violets. Buttercup is a pretty bright yellow flower. Primrose is the queen of spring. But as we speak, snow starts falling. These small showers happen in March without a warning. They cover the roofs of the houses. But as soon as the sun shines, the snow melts away. Winter is finally over when there are these sudden small showers of hailstones.
