Living in swamps and rivers is the speckled kingsnake with its ‘salt and pepper’ look. They are covered in black scales and yellow white spots. Growing to 120 cm in length, they are non-venomous constrictors that squeeze their prey such as mammals, birds, rodents, lizards, frogs and other snakes. Their life span is 15 years.
