Bhima and Draupadi first tried to persuade Yudhishthira to attack the Kauravas and take revenge. Yudhishthira said they should first fulfil the condition of the game and complete their exile. Krishna and Vyasa arrived in Kamyakaranya along with King Drupada. They tried to soothe the Pandavas. Vyasa also warned them that there would be a terrible war after the thirteenth year of their exile with the Kauravas. He advised Arjuna to worship Lord Shiva to seek divine weapons. Pushing through the Gandhamadana range, Arjuna reached the Indrakula Mountains. He met Indra, the king of gods, who asked him to leave his weapons behind. Arjuna could not obey, so the sage revealed himself to be Indra. He asked Arjuna to worship Lord Shiva and then return to him for all further knowledge of divine weapons. Arjuna went to Mount Kailash where he began meditating on Lord Shiva.
