Scott Bar salamanders are brown with bronze stripes running down their entire length. These lungless salamanders respire through their moist skins. They inhabit temperate forests and rivers, and are often found in rocky areas with moss. Their diet based on a closely related species could be mites, spiders, beetles and moths.
