The Summer’s poison frog is jet black with orange lines on its back outlining the head and limbs. The bright colouration warns predators of its toxic skin secretions. Dry rocky mountain forests are their favourite locations where they can be found among leaf litter. Due to their bright colours they are highly desired as pets.
