The Popeye Village, which is also known as the Sweethaven Village, is a small group of rustic buildings located in Anchor Bay, in Malta. The Popeye Village was not an actual village until the 1980, when a film set was built in Anchor Bay for a musical feature film by the name of Popeye, starring Robin Williams. When the shooting ended, the village set was not dismantled and 19 buildings created as a part of the film remain till date, where the village has been converted into a museum and a popular tourist destination.
