The plumed basilisk can walk on water by sprinting short distances. It’s bright green with blue spots running down its back. You can tell a male from its crests on the head, back and tail but the female has them only on the head. They thrive near water bodies in tropical rainforests, and eat insects, rodents, lizards, fruits and flowers.
