The secret tree toad is exclusively found in the Uluguru mountains. The brownish toad is small and thin with a pointed snout. The ear drum is not seen but has a depression in the area. The fertilization occurs internally and the female retains the larvae till birth. The toads have not been found after they were first discovered in 1926 and 1927.
