The morelet’s crocodile has a broad snout and can grow up to 9.8 feet long. They are dark with silvery brown eyes. They love freshwater swamps and marshes, and can also be found in brackish water. Fish, small reptiles, mammals and birds form their diet. They are hunted for their skins. Their life span is 25 years.
