Interesting fact : Even if its prey escapes its powerful attack, its saliva (rich in bacteria) kills it within 24 hours. The Komodo will then sniff the trail of its dead prey and eat it.

Komodo dragons are the largest lizards in the world growing up to 10 feet long. Covered in scales, they have strong legs and muscular tails.These meat-eaters have a good sense of smell and will eat almost anything they can find from pigs, to dead meat to even large buffaloes. They love monsoon forests and savanna.
