James Learns a Lesson

Little James was fond of his toys. He loved to play with his toys, but he always went to bed without tidying up his room. His room always looked much untidy. No one likes an untidy room. James’ toys especially hated his untidy room. So, they began complaining to James. One morning James was shocked when a teddy bear jumped up and said, “James, how can I play with you? Your room is so untidy,” James became sad. Next, an old wooden soldier complained, “James, why do you always leave us untidily on the floor? You don’t know how uncomfortable and cold the floor is!” James remembered how comfortable he felt in his bed. But he had felt bad when he had once slept on a chair. James asked them to forgive him. Now he always put his toys nicely in their places before he went to bed.
