The Gyokusendo Caves are Illuminated Caves located to the south of Okinawa, Japan. Completely sheltered, the caves are comfortable walk through an ‘air conditioned’ environment. One of the biggest caves in Okinawa, Japan, these caves are known as Illuminated Caves because of the coloured lights that are reflected of extremely fragile stalactites that hang from the ceiling of the caves resembling ice.
