Frank loved butterflies. He would watch multi-coloured butterflies for hours. He would never hurt them even when he chased butterflies. His uncle, Samuel, caught butterflies to study them. Whenever Uncle Samuel went to catch butterflies, Frank would also go with him. One day, Frank saw a colourful butterfly trapped into Uncle Samuel’s net. Frank felt sorry for the poor creature and released it. Uncle Samuel did not see him doing it. The butterfly came up to his ear and whispered, “Thank you, little boy.” Frank was amazed. “Wow! This beautiful butterfly can also talk,” he thought. Frank felt happy that he had saved the butterfly. He also felt happy to discover that the butterfly could talk just like him. He disliked Uncle Samuel for catching butterflies. Having received gratitude from the talking butterfly, he never failed to be kind to all animals and birds.
