When it is winter time, there are no flowers to see. But unknown to anyone, the roots are growing fast to make way for the flowers to bloom. The flowers are having a conversation. Daisy says, “I will wear a white dress with a yellow button.” Snowdrop says, “You will take a long time to grow. But I grow in winter. I am not afraid of the snow. Look, my flowers are appearing.” But nobody can hear their conversation. A girl sees the snowdrop flowers and says, “It is great to see flowers growing in winter.” She plucks a few of them and takes them home. Meanwhile, the conversation is continuing underground. Daffodil says, “Do not be proud, Snowdrop. Every flower blooms at the right time. I grow only when the snow has cleared.” Poppy agrees to what the daffodil says. It says, “I grow only when spring comes.” Unaware of their conversation, a bird is waiting for spring to appear and flowers to bloom.
