Feet have Feelings too (Brilliant Biologuy Experiments)

You will need:

  1. 6 large shallow plastic
    tubs
  2. Shaving cream
  3. Honey or any other syrup
  4. Rice
  5. Besan/ ground gram flour
  6. Sand
  7. Soapy water
  8. Paper and Pencil

Relax your over worked-legs by exploring the sensitivity of your feet to different textures.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. So as not to create a mess, conduct this experiment outside. Ask some of your friends to help you place each tub with one item poured into the tub.
  2. The first tub would have rice, second besan, then honey or any syrup, sand, then shaving cream, and lastly soapy water to clean their feet.
  3. One by one, blindfold your friends and without naming
what they are about to step into, describe the item. Ask them to guess what they have stepped into and ask them how it feels on their feet.

RESULT

Stepping into different items helps to understand the sensitivity in our feet and also how the nerve endings in our feet are a lot more sensitive than they are in the rest of our body.
