Lining the tropical coasts are these large, aggressive sharks with an average length of 2.4 metres, weighing 130 kg. This solitary hunter head-butts its prey like a bull before killing it. They eat almost anything from fish, dolphins to smaller sharks. It mates from late summer to early autumn. Gestation period is 12 months. They live for 16 years.
