Found in rainforests, trees and bushes, the green tree python can have yellow spots and also comes in a variety of other colours and patterns. Hatchlings are a contrasting reddish-brown. These 4 to 6 feet long, slender pythons feed on rodents and reptiles after squeezing them to suffocation. Also popular as pets, they live for over 15 years.
