Once, everyone who owned horses in the kingdom started selling them at low costs owing to the spread of a dangerous disease that could affect humans too.
When the king found out, he got to know that the horses in royal stables were absolutely all right, so he asked Tenali to investigate the matter. In a few days, Tenali presented some people who told the king they were caught as they were talking of sick horses but had never seen them.
The king understood it was all a rumour. Later, Tenali presented a couple to the king who confessed they started the rumour so that people and his soldiers might start selling their horses which the spies of other
kingdom could buy and later attack his kingdom. The king was shocked and executed all the spies, thanking Tenali to solve the issue.
