The Saker and the Birds

The crow continued, “Once there was a very cruel and oppressive saker. All the other birds including the kite, the falcon and the likes, feared him. Saker inflicted wounds on other birds by attacking them. He was very cunning to eat from the catch of other birds.

As time passed by, the saker became weak and could not hunt for enough food. He held the cunningness of the fox and his eagerness to find friendship in me to ensure food for him which I procured.

I was not afraid of incurring his wrath and I was even ready to have fight. He said that the Allah had given him strong wings, intelligence to know impending danger, and strong eyesight.

Anyone who had ever tried to act like a stronger person than actually what he was, calamity would befall him. That was what exactly happened to the sparrow. The King wanted to know what happened to the sparrow. And the crow started narrating the story of the Eagle and the Sparrow.
