Tanya was a little girl. When her tooth was shaking for the first time, she cried in pain. It pained more in the night. “Ouch,” cried Tanya in pain, “My tooth is shaking.” “Don’t worry,” said her mother, “We will have the tooth pulled out.” Tanya looked terrified. Mother pacified her, “Tanya, don’t worry. The tooth fairy will leave money for you in return for your tooth.” Tanya was excited at the thought of a reward from the tooth fairy. Tanya wanted to know more about the tooth fairy. So, she got her tooth extracted. At night, mother helped Tanya place the tooth carefully under the pillow. Tanya decided to stay up and wait for the tooth fairy, but no one came. Soon, her eyes drooped and she was fast asleep. In the morning, a 10‑pound note lay under her pillow. “The tooth fairy actually came!” shouted Tanya, happily eyeing the money.
