Turk Whale was unhappy. He had no friends. He had no one to play with. He was lonely. But suddenly, a crab called out, “Hello Whale! Want to play?” But the crab was so small that Turk did not hear him. Then two dolphins began leaping to and fro across Turk’s back. “Play with us!” they cried. But Turk was so big that he did not notice them. Then an octopus came near Turk. He complained to the octopus, “I am so lonely. I have no friends to play with.” “But you are the biggest animal in the sea. Everyone loves you,” said the octopus. And sure enough when Turk looked about him, he saw all the animals shouting, “Play with us Turk!” “I have so many friends and I did not know it!” said Turk, and he swam off to join his friends.
