Long ago, a chicken was searching for food when an acorn fell on her head. The chicken thought, ‘The sky is falling down. I must tell the king at once.’ So off she went to tell the king. On the way, she met a cock. He asked her, “Where are you running off to.” She told him, “I am off to tell the king that the sky is falling down.” The cock joined her. Soon, they met a duck. The duck also joined them. After that a goose joined them. Many animals joined them till they met a fox. The fox asked them, “Where are you all going?” The chicken replied, “We are going to the king to tell him that the sky is falling down.” Now, the fox was clever and said, “Come with me. I know a shortcut to reach the king.” So they all followed him. But he took them to his den and none was able to go to the king!
