After making a treaty with Joshua, Gibeonites found themselves in trouble. The Kings of Gibeon surrounded themselves to Joshua and his army and asked him to help them. Though Joshua didn’t want to help them yet, but had to keep his word. God was annoyed with Joshua, but was glad that he was keeping his word. However, God promised to help Joshua to win the land, as He had promised. The army marched towards the land at night and made a surprise attack on the least expecting army. Though they tried to escape yet but hailstorm made it quite a challenging task. Joshua knew that the nightfall was soon expected, and thus he ordered that Sun to stand still on Gibeon and asked the Moon to pause over Aijalon. Joshua won the war, as night didn’t come over the place.
