Where was the First Mobile Phone Invented?

The first mobile phone was invented in 1973 by an American engineer, Martin ‘Marty’ Cooper in Schaumburg, Illinois. He was former Motorola inventor in midtown Manhattan and he placed a call to the headquarters of Bell Labs in New Jersey. The first mobile phone went on sale in the United States at a price of $4,000 in 1983. The first cell phone was developed when there wasn’t even a cordless phone for the home. The first mobile phone weighed 1 kg.
